A message from HRI's Executive Director, Corinne Packer 

I am delighted to introduce you to the work, resources and tools produced by Human Rights Internet through our newly updated web site. HRI is achieving measurable results through its targeted projects, be it through our Initiative on Conflict Prevention through Quiet Diplomacy, which has been extremely prolific in its activities and far-reaching in its goals, or our International Internships Programme which has enabled many young Canadians to make a difference in human rights organizations worldwide. Our on-line theme-based Tribune, Visiting Speakers Series and newly started Human Rights Think Tank Watch enable knowledge-sharing of topical or pressing human rights issues. We have restructured our web site to ensure that it is easy to use and continues to be a helpful tool for a new generation of researchers and activists.
