On 23 January 2009, a symposium on Extreme Poverty, Human Rights and Health was held at the University of Ottawa in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. This symposium reflected on the concerns of a research network called Health in an Unequal World: Global Ethics and Policy Choices, funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) and Human Rights Internet. HRI is thankful to the CIHR for the additional resources that made it possible to hold this symposium. The pdf links to a brief synopsis of the presenters and presentations made at the symposium.
